500 Families.
One Day of
Free Healthcare.
On 31 October 2026, ZIM Foundation heads to Nkwen, Bamenda — bringing free malaria testing, same-day treatment, mosquito nets, and essential medications to 500 families who need it most. We need your help to make it happen.
Bamenda is a city that has known hardship. Years of instability in the North West Region have strained already fragile health systems, leaving families — particularly women, children under five, and low-income households — with little or no access to basic medical care. Malaria, one of the leading killers of children in Cameroon, continues to spread unchecked in communities where testing and treatment are simply out of reach.
On 31 October 2026, ZIM Foundation is going to Nkwen, Bamenda, to change that — even if just for one day. And one day, when it’s done right, can save lives.
“Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of the Nkwen, Bamenda community.”
We’ve Done This Before — and It Worked
This is not ZIM Foundation’s first campaign. On 11 April 2026, we deployed to Manasa, Mfou, with Waingam Foundation and Zion Medical Health Center. Here is what happened in a single day:
Every single beneficiary surveyed gave a positive recommendation. 72% of those reached were women. 150 insecticide-treated nets went home with families who will sleep safer every night for years because of that one day.
The Nkwen campaign is built on the same model — but bigger. Three times the target. A new region. And the same unwavering commitment: everything free, everyone treated with dignity.
Help us reach 500 families in Bamenda.
Your donation funds free malaria tests, treatment, medications, and mosquito nets — 100% to programs, no overheads.
What Will Happen on 31 October
The Nkwen campaign will function as a complete free healthcare day for the community. Led by Dr. Blessing V. Vugar, Director of Sion Medical Center, medical teams will be stationed from early morning across the following service areas:
Who We Are Serving
The Nkwen neighbourhood of Bamenda is home to families who face reduced access to formal health infrastructure due to regional insecurity and economic hardship. Our target beneficiaries are residents of Nkwen and surrounding communities — with specific priority given to women, children under 5, and low-income households who cannot access or afford clinical care.
These are not statistics. They are mothers who have watched their children burn with fever and had no way to get them tested. They are families sleeping without nets because they cannot afford them. One donation. One campaign day. It genuinely changes outcomes.
