Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
ZIM FOUNDATION is committed to ensuring that its programs are effective, relevant, and aligned with its objectives as defined in its statutes.
Purpose
The MEL system helps the Foundation to:
- Track progress of activities and projects
- Assess results and outcomes
- Improve planning and implementation
- Ensure accountability to members, partners, and beneficiaries
Implementation
- Project Coordinators are responsible for monitoring and reporting on assigned projects.
- The Executive Bureau reviews progress during its monthly meetings.
- Activity reports are prepared and presented to the General Assembly.
Learning & Improvement
Lessons learned from program implementation are used to:
- Improve future interventions
- Strengthen institutional capacity
- Guide decision-making by the Executive Bureau and the General Assembly
